Packing and Securing a Motorcycle for shipping takes skill and expertise. Have you just bought the motorcycle you’ve always wanted and now need to ship it back? Or are you moving overseas and need to freight your motorcycle to your new home? Whatever the case, tap on our years of experience in handling all types of motorcycles.
Our Expertise
PACKING & LOADING:
- We will arrange to collect the bike from your residence, and have it sent to our workshop to drain all fluids.
- We will strap your bike securely and account for all moving parts, using the strongest of belts and fasteners.
- We will use the side/center stand to keep it upright in its crate.
- We also disconnect the battery and reduce the air pressure in the tires.
- After a few layers of packaging, we custom build a wooden crate around your bike and load it securely.
- Once the crate is sealed, we will load it into its shipping container for FCL shipments, or send the crate to the port if its an LCL shipment.
DOCUMENTATION:
- Download a copy of our Motorcycle Condition Report Form
- Every country has different requirements for the import, but the paperwork that you will definitely need are:
- Ownership Papers
- Invoice / Sales agreement to substantiate declared value
- Log Card / Book
- Passport copy of the shipper / owner
RISK MANAGEMENT:
- Apart from safely packing and shipping your motorcycle, we can assist to purchase insurance for the shipment
- We will provide the insurance company with all the necessary photos, condition report
